 And as I always tell my groups, you will get far more XP for R-O-L-E-playing than ROLL-playing, meaning that coming up with creative solutions and in-character choices other than "hack and slash" will be rewarded. :-)

Also, I had forgotten how well they walk a beginner player through the process using an in-book solo adventure (actually more than one), and later Choose-your-own-adventure style solo techniques as well.

A great way to start out new players.
