— by Hawke — last modified Jan 27, 2017 08:41 AMThis is an excerpt from Khrahdûm "Ironflute" Hect's raw journal. It is not his book of verse or prose. "I was earning my keep as a bard in the village Inn, when strange events began to take place, clearly a story needing a bard's presence to record for the sake of posterity..."

Have Fun Learning InfoSec Through Role-Playing Gaming
— by Hawke — last modified Aug 05, 2016 06:36 AMTonight I begin play-testing the brand new Cryptomancy RPG by Chad Walker. It is a role-playing game specifically useful for teaching the basics of Information Security (InfoSec) to laymen (and professionals), in a fun way. It is first and foremost designed as a fun fantasy RPG setting (with the InfoSec twist), that just happens to teach basic InfoSec concepts and good (and bad) practices as a byproduct of participation.

Post your Gaming Group to the SpokaneRpg.com Website and/or meetup.com/SCdA-RPG
— by Hawke — last modified Dec 13, 2015 07:22 AMGreetings fellow RPGers. Surprisingly I had 5 different people this week asking about open games (mine are all full and wait-listed), and I noticed only a few groups posting on various sites right now, though many are active in this area. I mentioned the various Facebook RPG & LARP groups (among others), but several of them stated they won't use Facebook (interestingly for different reasons), so thought it would be good to encourage folks to post their groups on the SpokaneRPG.com and local Meetup.com groups..
