Worlds of Beru
Worlds of Beru Overview
by Hawke — last modified Feb 01, 2015 02:26 AM - Here is an overview introduction to the home brew multiverse campaign by Hawke Robinson, "Worlds of Beru". This is an intentionally highly derivative setting, unashamedly directly borrowing from existing mythologies, legends, histories, literature, and many other sources.
Regnum Sapientium (King Arthur's Kingdom)
by Hawke — last modified Feb 01, 2015 03:51 AM - One area that I have used as a starting location, is a mythical Arthurian setting. This section provides a brief overview of this area. Note that it is intentionally NOT a copy of our modern version of the settings, rather it is a split of the multiverse that has many aspects that are comfortably familiar from the Arthurian legends, but have significant differences (for example the Elven empire is a close analog to the Roman empire in decline, but not by any means identical).
Elves of Beru
by Hawke — last modified Feb 01, 2015 02:48 AM - This information applies mostly to the elves in the surrounding areas under Arthur's rule. The Characters may not have information about the elves in other lands (sea elf characters would be more "worldly" than most of the other races).
The Southern Wood Elves Realm
Another of the Wood Elves realms, this one is on the very southeast edge of Regnum Sapientum, nestled at the southern end of the Dragonspine mountains...
"The Changes"
by Hawke — last modified Oct 09, 2014 01:24 AM - The lands to the north are being buried by ice, while the southern ice lands are melting.
The Comet
by Hawke — last modified Feb 01, 2015 02:36 AM - ccording to legend, and more accurately from the long lives (and memories) of the elves (and other long-lived races), a few centuries ago a great comet struck the world, and nothing has been the same since. All lands were changed by the impact. ....
The Dragonspine Mountains
by Hawke — last modified Jan 28, 2015 01:35 PM - The Dragonspine Mountains are immensely rugged sharp jagged peaks, with several active and semi-dormant volcanoes. Portions of these mountains were formed during the last great battle with the Drow that reshaped much of the local lands.
The Far North
by Hawke — last modified Jan 28, 2015 01:35 PM - In the realms of the great ice kingdoms far to the north is the land the land of the Norse gods. There living in the harshest of environments are their followers, the Germanics, the Vikings, and may others of their warring clans. Dragons, Giants, and other great creatures of yore still abound.
Places and People of Note
by Hawke — last modified Jan 28, 2015 11:21 PM - This is a placeholder of many other places of note. I have far more details than posted here, they are meant as teasers for the players, your characters may have heard tidbits about each place, or maybe nothing more than a name, but this provides some hints as to what exists, which are meant to be discovered over time through adventure.
The Great Sundering Seas
by Hawke — last modified Feb 01, 2015 03:48 AM - Perilous to leave site of the coasts, the great mists of the Sundering Seas can cause many a captain to lose their way if they do not stick to the few known safe paths, otherwise they end up in waters and lands completely strange and may not be able to return the way they came....
Magic in Beru
by Hawke — last modified Jan 28, 2015 01:35 PM - Magic is treated differently by different cultures, and in areas that are closer to other multiverses, how magic functions might even vary...
Dwarves of Beru
by Hawke — last modified Jan 28, 2015 01:35 PM — Found in all lands to greater and lesser degrees, and in various forms, Dwarves are generally rugged wherever they may be, whether noble or shady.

Halflings (Overview)
Halflings are a diminutive, uncommon species in the core world of Beru, but they have managed to make little toeholds (pun intended) in all of the major continents, and even here and there on the rare larger island (though most are afraid of the "big waters").
