The Great Northern Glacier
All the lands of Beru have been reporting that the ice of the far north year by year continues be a little farther south than the year before. This is wreaking havoc with crops, travel routes, shipping lanes, borders of kingdoms, and many other problems. Stories abound as to why this is happening, but none have a solution. Less and less of the northern lands are habitable, increasing pressure on the southern lands.
If these trends continue, in just a few more years, the ice will reach the middle seas, such as Port Balcoth the largest traiding port for this continent, at the southern end of the Arthurian kingdom of Sapientium.
The Great Southern Glacier
While the north lands appear to be rapidly freezing, the southern lands are rapidly heating. The most southern lands that once were under miles of ice are now mostly flooded as the great glaciers have undergone unprecedented melting.
